WondLa Fan Art Vol. 2

Normally, I would  have a few more drawings in this post, but I posted some of my recent ones on the 19th (see Happy Birthday, Neon Cheetah!). So, I only have five, lonely fan arts 😦

But hey, they’re still fan arts!

I did this a few months ago. Originally, I wasn’t going to color it. But then I got bored and did color it, and it turned out pretty cool.

I did this in my art elective at school (I got it again! WOOT WOOT). I’m not actually submitting it to Google, mainly because hardly anyone would get it in the first place. Super fun to draw.

I drew this right after my first WondLa fan art of Eva Nine (see WondLa Fan Art Vol. 1). Like you can see that I wrote, I never thought that I would ever be able to draw the amazing Rovender. And here I am now!

I drew this just about two hours ago in the art elective. I am SO PROUD OF MYSELF for FINALLY MANAGING TO TO DRAW REDIMUS and actually have it LOOK GOOD!!!! 😍 😍 😍

And finally…

I know I said last time that I thought my fan art of Eva hugging Rovender was my best fan art yet, but now, I’ve drawn better! Now it’s a tie between the one I did of Zin and Eva (see Happy Birthday, Neon Cheetah!) and this one.

This one probably will hold the top spot for a pretty #%*$ long time now…

Hope you like my latest fan arts! ‘Till morrow’s destiny, everyone! 😉

Book Review Tuesday (9/27/16)-One White Dolphin

Hello, everyone! September went by so fast…

Anyway, here’s your book review. This book was very powerful. A must for all animal lovers!

Kara lives in a small town on the coast of the UK. Her mother disappeared when she was younger, and she lives with her father, aunt, and half-sister Daisy. Fishing has been hard, and the fishermen hope to dredge the reef. But Kara and her family, in honor of her animal-loving mother, want to protect the reef for future generations. So when an albino dolphin calf washes ashore, Kara and the others must protect the reef not only for the sake of their village-but so that the calf might survive.

Like I said, super powerful, touching, and heartwarming. Love! 🐬

Bye, and have a happy rest of your September!

Book Review Tuesday (9/20/16)- Ghosts

I promised a few months prior that I would review this book. (Back then, I didn’t know that it would come out on Sept. 12. It was like, June or something). So, here’s your review! This is probably my favorite graphic novel of Raina Telgemeier’s. ❤️👻

(HALLELUJAH! I JUST FIGURED OUT HOW TO ADJUST THE SIZE! Madeline, you idiot…*face palms*)

Cat never wanted to move to Bahia de la Luna. Her family wouldn’t have done it either, if not for Cat’s little sister, who has cystic fibrosis. But when they move, Cat and Maya discover a shocking secret- this town is full of ghosts. Lots and LOTS of ghosts. Though Maya is eager to see them, Cat’s terrified for herself-and Maya. Can she overcome her fear while keeping her sister safe?

As I said, this is a wonderful book. Highly recommended for, well, everyone! Bye for now!

Happy Birthday, Neon Cheetah!

Hi there! Technically, my blog turned 1 sometime in August, but today marks the first anniversary of my first post (see Aw Yeah Cat Drawings! ). So today, I’m giving you a treat- memes, fan arts, a book review (I didn’t do one last week b/c I was in California on a trip with my school), and a BIG REVEAL! So first, the memes:

The Elder Guardian knows where you live…

This actually happened. Oops…

Two words. Chris Pine.

Mr. Whiskers ALSO knows where you live…

This actually happened. It was SO WEIRD. Please don’t bother asking.

Now, the fan arts:

My friend dared me to do this. Wings of Fire + WondLa. 😉

Delphi Diggory (from The Cursed Child )

Now, the BOOK REVIEW! (Note: I’ll be doing another one tomorrow)

BOOK REVIEW…MONDAY (9/19/16)- Doll Bones

Zach, Poppy, and Alice have been friends since they were little. For as long as they have been friends, they have played pretend games as well-building a fantastical world of monsters and pirates, all under the rule of the Great Queen, a china doll locked in a glass cupboard. But now they’re in middle school, and Zach has forfeited the game. Just after that, Poppy has visions of the Queen, and she knows that they must come back together again to help the restless Queen find peace. Can she, Zach and Alice complete the quest?

I read this while I was in California, and I thought it was very good! Four stars! Very imaginative and original.

Now…the moment you’ve ALL been waiting for…

Remember my previous post, Graphic Novel Things?

Well, I finished the  first draft of the script last night, and I thought it would be fitting  to reveal the graphic novel’s story.

Now, do you memember my Daughters of Bast stories (see Stories: Part(s) 1,2, & 3) ?

I’m making the first story into the graphic novel!!!!!!!

If you don’t remember, just try and find those posts.

I’m not going to spoil anything, and I’m CERTAINLY not going to give you the script yet, so I’ll just show you the logo, and that will be the end of it.

One more thing: It’s way better than the original. 😉

Well, bye for now! Have a nice day knowing that the Elder Guardian and Mr. Whiskers are stalking you at this very moment!

Book Review Tuesday (9/5/16)- Serafina and the Twisted Staff

Hello, and happy September! This is the second book in the Serafina series, and it just came out this July. I’d definetely say that the first book was better than this (see BRT 4/26/16), but it was still good all the same.

(Why do these cover images always have to be so BIG? And, if you make them smaller, they’re so tiny…#firstworldproblems)

Weeks after the Man in the Black Cloak is defeated, a man named Detective Grathan comes to investigate the case at Biltmore Estate. But now, a growing threat that may mean the end of all life in and outside of Biltmore, is coming. Serafina suspects that the detective, as well as  the suspicious Lady Rowena, may have something to do with it. Can Serafina save Biltmore-again-from an evil that may surpass the Man in the Black Cloak?

Like I said, the first book was better, but that doesn’t mean that this was bad. So, Serafina fan or not, this is a good read! Just read the first book first, obviously. Ciao!

OMGOMGOMGOMGSUCHAGOODMOVIESQUEEEEEE (Neon Cheetah’s thoughts on Kubo and the Two Strings)

As you could probably gather from the title of this post, I saw Kubo and the Two Strings and LOVED IT. It’s now one of my favorite movies EVER, second only to Frankenweenie (my favorite movie). Just to give you peeps ideas, here are some pics.kuboandthetwostrings.jpg

So yeah. I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MOVIE. The story, the animation, the characters, the origami, the magic, the fire-breathing chickens…

Yes, there is a fire-breathing chicken briefly involved. Don’t ask.

Anyway, go see this movie. Your life will be better if you do.

Plus, there’s the added bonus of an amazing song in the credits. Here’s the link:

So, enjoy the movie! Hope you LOVELOVELOVELOVE it as much as I did!
